7 Questions to ask yourself before your bathroom remodel

1. Will Children be sharing the bathroom?

• If so, can it be divided into zones to increase usability and privacy?

2. Will there be a dedicated powder room for visitors?

• Should it include a shower so it can be used as an auxiliary bathroom for over night guests?

3. Can the bathrooms be grouped together to reduce rough in costs?

• Two doors to one bathroom.

4. Do family members or frequent guests have a disability?

• May consider a curb-less shower pan, or handicap railings.

5. Is there adequate storage space for linens and towels near by?

• Custom bathroom cabinetry, or linen closet build out in bathroom.

6. Will you be using water saving toilets?

7. Do you want private alcoves for toilets? Of you are short on room, can a half height wall substitute?
